how to connect windows Me to samba server?

I installed samba linux server windows Xp was able to connect to the server but my windows Me client cannot please advice me what to do..Can windows Me communicate with linux samba server.

Please post this as a new question. launchpad doesn't have a mechanism for noticing old questions so it's only pure luck that i stumbled across this. I think the samba protocol was initially written by the linux/gnu crowd to be a better replacement for Windows equivalent, which either completely lacked that kind of functionality or else didn't do the job very well. I think in Windows it became called Tcp/ip. Sadly i have no idea how to use it but i think that Windows ME should be able to use it. Post as a new question and the someone at the front-desk here should be able to help
