since upgrading smb I can't print to remote

I was working with a label printer connected to a windows pc.
Since upgrading samba it doesn't work anymore.
It sends an error message on loading ubuntu about reporting a
It sees the remote folders fine, including printers, but I can't print anymore. It fails silently.
It had happened before, but the previous upgrade fixed it.

If you remove the printer on the client system, then re-add it
