Can't mount the network Ubuntu 11.10
Can't mount the network or any computers on the network. Have installed the file sharing service and marked the files to share. The windows machines can access any file shared on the ubuntu machines. The ubuntu machines CANNOT access anything. It's a complete one way deal, what do I need to do to make it work?

Love the hostnames. If you have a firewall, on the windows systems make sure it allows the local traffic.

I have even tried this
sudo ufw disable that disables the firewall and that does NOT fix it
have 17 computers on the lan all dual boot, in a ubuntu only invironment no two computers can share files-they just won't communicate somehow it's a security protical somewhere that's stopping it (I think it is anyhow)
any suggestions?
