Ubuntu - canot share internal NTFS disk on network

I have a disk external and it was a ntfs partition. when i plug it in usb its mount it and was able to share it in ubuntu. But now i take this disk and place it in computer, and now i cant share it. I know that this is because a NTFS partition, but what i could do to fix this. How to mount a internal disk on my username and not root, because nou is mounted ass a root user..

You can share the mount point of the partition with samba. As the partition is NTFS it adds a LOT of complications. You may need to run:

sudo smbpasswd -a $USER

and set a password to authenticate to samba with.
