OSX File Sharing Error

I've assigned a drive on my Mac Pro as a shared folder over my network. My Ubuntu PC can properly access and browse the shared folder over the network but when i try to use or copy a file from the shared drive i get the follow error.

"Error while copying 'file'" and when i click on More Details it says "Function Not Implemented".

Does anyone know how to correct this?

I suggest you check the options on your Mac share

Thanks, i've verified my settings in OS X. Everything should work fine. I think the problem is specific to Ubuntu.

Btw, the shared folder is serving fine to other macs and windows PCs.
