Windows cannot mount

We have installed samba on our server but whenever we try connecting to the folders created for sharing we keep getting this "Windows cannot mount" Oh and we are using windows 7 on the pc's. Please can you help with a step by step guide for solving this problem

Checked the permissions for samba and ubuntu to ensure they are matching and even changed some to rwx

I removed the KVM from the terminal and that worked
