Howdy folks, I'm new to Ubuntu i just downloaded ubuntu server edition and i would like to know how would i add windows clients to it ?

What do you mean by "windows clients"?

Are you trying to share files, allow access to email, web browsing, file transfer -- what is your goal?

If you are new to ubuntu the server edition by default does not install a graphical interface, and is definitely targeted towards more advanced users.

If you already have it installed, you may want to install a graphical desktop to make your life easier, with

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop

By windows clients i meant, Ubuntu serving windows xp,vista and win 7 clients.
And i'm trying to install graphical desktop you mentioned but i'm getting " E:unable to locate package ubuntu " and unable to locate package desktop.....

Any idea how to go around this
