Windows cannot see a Linux shared printer

I have an HP laser-jet printer that is connected to a Ubuntu 10.x system. I can print over the network from other Linux systems on the network and also works well from the Macs on the network The Windows 7 system on the network cannot see the printer on the Linux system. What am I missing? The printer is set up to be shared on the Linux system and I even created an account on the Linux system so the windows machine can log into it. Still it won't see the printer.
