Windows 7 Sharing Problems

It appears many people are having the Windows 7 file sharing problems. Is there any chance the new version 10.10 will address this issue ?

In Windows 7 Home Premium I cannot see my Ubuntu computer on the network in order to share files.
My other Ubuntu computer sees it fine and can share files. Presently running 10.04 Ubuntu.

try connecting manually to your Ubuntu machines.

smb://<ipaddress of ubuntu machine>

That should then show you the shares.
