saga_gui hogs my cpu

Asked by rnuske

saga_gui uses almost the entire cpu cycles of one cpu. This happens repeatable after visualizing DGM_30m_Mt.St.Helens_SRTM.grd. Loading the grid is fine, but after the double click for visualizing the grid in the map display the cpu raises to 100% and stays there. After that happend saga_gui cannot be stoped in the usual manner. I have to kill the process to get rid of saga_gui.

Astonishingly, this happens only on the laptop but not on the desktop PC running the same version (kubuntu 12.10).

I have no clue how get a usable saga_gui on the laptop and what additional information I should offer.

Thanks,
  Robert
