The most recent Ruby version which ruby-build will install is 2.3.0-dev as of this writing. The most recent stable Ruby is 2.3.2. Any chance of this package getting an update?

Ubuntu rarely gets the latest versions of packages. Stability is king so changes are infrequent. This is especially true in the LTS releases.

If there is a significant bug or security issue in the present package, or the version in the repository is no longer supported then please report a bug and the package will be updated sooner rather than later
