Tom, do you have documented anywhere the steps that you use to make a .deb package? I have tried in the past, but the deb package that I made would not install on other 386 machines (only on my own). Thanks for your hard work.

The debian folks build the actual package. I think you can get the source package and the run some pbuilder commands. There should be enough tutorials on internet on how to do that...
