Request Roundcube Webmail update

Hi,

  All ubuntu version provide 0.1-beta2 version of this fantastic webmail aka RoundCube. It is possible to update to the latest version (0.1.1) which provide security fixes + extra functionalities to Hardy please?

If you want to download outside of the Ubuntu respoitories you either need to find someone who has repackaged as a debian package and provided a software source or compile and install manually.

I couldn't find a package repository so you're down to a manual install, if you're game, from...

Hello Tony,

  I could install it by hand, it's not a problem but I just wanted to notice people who package it that there is a recent version of this package. Since it's a very recent Web php application, most of the fix are security related and should be upload asap. Even more, this certainly ran on Ubuntu-server, which usually used to served a lot of people.
  I just hope it will updated soon!

Hello Johan,

Please make sure you're installing the roundcube package and not the roundcube-webmail package. Indeed the roundcube-webmail has been marked for removal in future releases (see launchpad bug #202409). Moreover, the 0.1.1-3 version of roundcube package has been requested to be backported to hardy (see lp bug #230822).
