Using unity instead of default

android and ubuntu are different operating systems. you use either one or the other. you can't make one opsys work on another.

so what exactly are you trying to do? replace android with ubuntu on a device that has android?

Basically, I chroot into ubuntu from android. Then use vnc viewer inside Android to view my ubuntu desktop. So far every version I have tried uses gnome. Search "ubuntu on android".
