RB and adding/removing iPod tracks

Asked by Ace Rimmer

Ok, i am having lots of trouble with using my Ipod in RB. I tried the whole "move to trash" then unmounting the iPod, didnt remove the songs. i really dont want to lose all my songs by reformatting the player. Also, when i add songs it just adds the file to the main directory and that wont let the ipod actually access it while not connected to my computer. I would really like to know how to fix this problem, now i admit i am very new to Linux, so i may just be missing something simple.

All you have to do is to copy the music to the disk .After doing that just test to see if the music plays

Something else you might try is using banshee. I think it might work better with the ipod. I haven't played with it a whole lot but seems to work really well. It could use a better way to sync in my option but it works.

sudo apt-get install banshee

Can you help with this problem?
