no sound in rhythmbox

I can not get sound from rhythm box but when I open in Filemanager movie player runs and track plays sound

Is song stuck on 0:00 (playing time)? Or is it running?

Please tell is only a rhythmbox related sound issue are your sound layer working good with other apps...?

yeah all fine, sound is good with all other apps, movie player plays songs with its own window and visualization.

I've got no sound since i installd the latest ubunta update.

I switched to banshee and all works well, like the player too.
