From Rhythmbox:

Right click on the track(s)
Select "move to deleted items"
You'll get an extra icon in the left hand menu that looks like a red circle, click on that and then you'll see a list of all tracks in your library that Rhythmbox can't find the file for. Right click on the track(s) again and select "remove".

From Nautilus:

Browse to wherever you keep your music files
Delete the track(s)
Open Rhythmbox
You'll get an extra icon in the left hand menu that looks like a red circle, click on that and then you'll see a list of all tracks in your library that Rhythmbox can't find the file for. Right click on the track(s) again and select "remove".

Andy
