Asked by natsamp

I've just started using ubuntu and my computer has both ubuntu and windows on it, and all the files can be seen on both. through windows I have itunes with all my music on it and I want to add the files to rythmbox. I go to -Music -Import file (i tried file and flder) and select a folder with music in it, but it simply does nothing. How can I add my files?

You can't.

iTunes music files (bought from iTunes) have nasty DRM on them which prevents other open software products like Rhythmbox from opening them:-

An alternative is to burn them to CD and re-rip them in Ubuntu which will remove the DRM.

Thanks for your question. To add file on you rhythmbox you can setting the dir in which you have this file. To do it you open a configue option and in "library satting" you add the directory.

Thanks
