I can't play .wav file in rhythmbox.

What does rhythmbox say when you try to play a wav file?

Can you please provide:
uname -a
lsb_release -a
version of rhythmbox
The EXACT error rhythmbox gives

I think it should say need to search for available codec, click search it will show you a list of codecs, read and select the one you want and download. That should work

Thank you very much actionparsnip and Donrade. There wasn't a problem at first place. I thought that the Wav file would automatically play when I click the file name and click Open Rhythmbox Music Player button. Now after I open the program, I just click the title and click Play and it plays with no problem. Thank you very much for your time. (I think I will find a problem with other type of file. I will check carefully before I create a new topic.)
