unable to import music files/folders from windows on serperate drive

Asked by RichFox

Am running dual booting fiesty along side windows xp. (on seperate hard drives).
Once first installed fiesty I was able to view and import music from windows using rythm box.
I messed up adjusting gui so tried reinstalling fiesty. Now seem to have multiple fiesty's and no longer able to import music from windows.
 Thanks

Thanks for your reply
Can't remember - don't know how to find out either I am afraid - I am quite a Newbie.
I can view the files and folders in windows from rhythm box but when it comes to importing it either does nothing or shows it attmepting to import music but percentage complete never moves from zero.

You can add a line for each of your windows drives into the fstab file. Make sure that you have created the mount points.

Here are some instructions how to mount those windows drives:

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MountingWindowsPartitions

I hope this helps
