rhythmbox id3 request

Would it be possible to add a feature that treats id3 tags with case INsensitivity so there's fewer duplicate artists? Yes, I understand that my id3 tags are probably just sloppy and that utilities exist to fix them all, but that is a never-ending battle that I would prefer to address once in the end-application rather than with ongoing library maintenance.

While you’re waiting for someone to implement this, you could mass-edit them by sorting by artist and then selecting all the ‘badly tagged’ ones which will now be in a row. That’s what I do at least :)

I linked that bug report to this question. It's also known upstream.
