i want to play network radio station but i get a error message like:Couldn't start playback, you do not a decoder installed to handle this file.Youmight need to install the necessary plugins.

Depending on what format is radio broadcasting, you should install additional codecs using Synaptic package manager. The easiest way would be to install:
non-free-codecs

This will pull various plugins for you. Note, that you will need multiverse and universe repositories enabled.

i have tried the following answer you proeposed but i got a same error message.
the format of radio broadcasting is http://www.live.radio.net/redirfeed.php3?id=1390329.

Unfortunately I cannot test the problem, because host live.radio.net does not exist :( Would you please provide me with the website where you found that URL?

this radio station is on website :on google just write World radio station after that click on worlwide and click on Israel (Darom radio station).best regard
