I wish I could use itunes...

You can manage this with GTkpod for example.
On Firefox, copy, paste on the address bar, and press ENTER:

apt:/gtkpod

you can easy install Apple Itunes if you wish,
i dont have ipod, but works perfect, go for this Free Software here:

to install directly, click on this link, but see the web to understand more:
