does Rythmbox support.aa files (audio books) ?

Does rythmbox support .aa files (audio books) is there a place to maybe get a plugin, or is it not supported and ifso will it ever be ?

Audible Audio is just MP3 or AAC encrusted with proprietary DRM.

The linked page does - as far as I can see - not show any information on the Audible format.

I'm now starting to research a bit an get back here if I find something useful.

Some links I found that might be interesting:

Amarok can at least transfer the files to a media player: http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/Media_Device:IPod#Transfer_Audible_audiobooks_or_m4v_videos

But this sounds as if Amarok can even do more - but has a bug with it: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=479560

Also, rhythmbox can download the files as podcast.
