unhandled mime type

Hi im new to ubuntu and i downloaded flat assembler for linux and when i open it. It says unable to open document unhandled mime type application/x-executable.and all linux mime executable files say this what do i do please help

From what I got in the website.. Its in .tar.gz (or .tgz form) and has to be compiled from source
