can't see file type on track display

Asked by Jodi

I know for a fact my library has more than one version of some albums/tracks - on wma firstly, which I'd like to remove - and secondly the same album/tracks on mp3. Mediaplayer (yes I formally used Windows) would have a tab option to see the file extension so I could easily tell which tracks are wma and therefore surplus. Please help!

If Rhythmbox doesn't show the column for file type you could install the similar Banshee for the sake of sorting. I just checked, and it has a MimeType column that you can toggle by right-clicking the column header.

Can you help with this problem?
