also, is there a shortcut for deleting a file? my delete button doesn't seem to work when I've highlighted the file.

sorry if i sound whiny-

Install:
sudo apt-get install fslint

That has a good GUI and removed duplicate files.

I ran fslint and discovered 6Gig of duplicate files!........Can I get into strife if I just delete them all?

I was only searching duplicates in my music box but have discovered hundreds of duplicate application files.
