transfer music from 12.04 to iPod Touch

I am looking for a way to transfer Ryhthbox music files to an iPod Touch. (This was a gift and it can't be returned.) I have tried to no avail. If your have a solution please don't skip any steps in your instructions, I may not know how to do it other wise.

You say that you need more information but I am not sure what you are looking for. All I have been able to find out is that with this new generation of pods, pads, and phones Apple has done thier best to make it more difficult to not use their software which requires purchasing their systems and they only work with Microsoft and Apple products. I finally found a way to load my music on the iPod Touch but now it dose not show up and it indicates that nothing is there. For older pods, pads and phone there are methods for transferring files but not for this newer generation that I can find.

Hello, no sure whether it is okay or not, but i access this free phone manager tool, really works to realize the transfer process.
