dpkg was interupted

does not seem to matter what I try to install I get "dpkg was interupted,you must manually run "dpkg--configure-a" then I get the following :dpkg requested opperation requires superuser privilage" I have been trying to get sound in rhythbox. I copyied all my music files from MS XP

Superuser Privilege is the privilege given to execute commands as root in linux..
You must use sudo for superuser privileges in ubuntu

To execute the command, type the following in a terminal (applications -> accessories ->terminal)

sudo dpkg--configure-a
