how to upload music to ipod

Asked by Ramy Mourad

I formatted my iPod in hopes of importing all the music I have on Rythembox. I can see how to play music off of my iPod, but is there any way to upload music to the device?

Go to the 'Music' section and highlight the music you want and then drag them to the little iPod in the left hand column.

I think this is what you have to do, I don't personally have an myself iPod though.

Good Luck.

so you're saying all I need to do is highlight the songs and drag-and-drop them unto the icon of my ipod on the left? doesn't work for me...

umm no, you could try and download gtkpod from the add/remove apps window thingy and then, w/ the ipod connected to your computer, open gtkpod and click on the tab on the sidebar that says Ipod. from there i can upload music onto my ipod and i've listened to music through that process (movies still confuse me though).

I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO SYNC MY IPOD WITH RYTHEMBOX IT IS THE WRONG DEVICE.
