rhythmbox keeps freezing up 11.04

i just installed 11.04, and rythmbox keeps freezing up,everything except works fine

Natty is no longer supported in any way you can name. It is EOL (End Of Life). I suggest you delete the old OS and install a fresh install of Precise (Ubuntu 12.04). It is LTS (Long Term Support) until April 2017. Or you can install Quantal (12.10) which is supported for 18 months but has the very latest features and packages.
