rhythmbox doesn't start up

Asked by Justin Tsao

When ever I try to open rhythmbox, it just closes and even if it does open its only for a second of two.
On terminal it says:

justinian-kikichim@justinian-kikichim-laptop:~$ rhythmbox
**
RhythmDB:ERROR:rhythmdb-tree.c:1469:remove_child: assertion failed: (g_hash_table_remove (parent->children, data))
Aborted

I'm wondering what I should do now.

If you rename / delete the config for rhythmbox, then rerun it. Is it ok?

Yea I did that but it goes again and auto-shuts down. Do I have to repeat the same procedure?
