How do I change the extension on my saved movie files

Asked by Marvin Lumpkin

I have both movie files and music files but they are saved with an extension that are not compatible to other devices I'd like to transfer them to. Example: a music file saved with a .ogg extension but to use on another devise it must have an .mp3 extension; the video files need to be saved with a .3gp extension. HOW???

You need to convert the movies not only change the name...

As said, you need to convert the video files. I've never used it but you could try Transmageddon program from the repositories: it claims to be specifically for converting video for use on portable devices.

Chris.
