At first I would try to include the username and password in the URL.
The syntax is:
http://username:password@hostname/path

Example:
URL: http://www.example.org/podcast.xml
user: johndoe
password: secret
http://johndoe:<email address hidden>/podcast.xml

Yes, That worked.

If I might bother you with another question.

I am a Former Microsoft Outlook user. I go through a lot of emails with pictures attached (Auto salvage yard with some car sales). With outlook I could save my emails in MY Documents with the pictures embedded and put them in the appropriate folder. I did this because Outlook has a 2 gig limit on the file. I have a terabyte of disc space. When I save emails in Evolution it only saves the text. The picture is gone. The pictures are important to me. What would you do toremedy this? Is there a different way of saving pictures in email? Should I be using a different email client?
