interface with gtkpod

Hi. I've sent a request to gtkpod as well asking about this, but since it involves Rythmbox as well I'm posting here too. Gtkpod has reached a point where it can update my IPOD Nano with video in Linux. It would be very nice to get the interface together so that Rythmbox and Gtkpod share the same directories & files, or at least the free cover art & lyrics found by Rythmbox could be easily transferred to my IPOD. How can we facilitate this?
