How do I adjust font size of the song details?

Asked by Allan Caeg

I want to see more songs at a time. The interface of Songbird 0.2.5 is very similar to the interface of Rhythmbox but I prefer Songbird's because of the font size of the song details. Since the fonts of song details in songbird are smaller, I can view more songs, albums, and artists at a time.

Is there a way for me to adjust the font size of song details? If so, how?

Thanks in advance. :)

Hi Allan,

As you are using Rhythmbox I'm going to assume that you are using Gnome. As far as I know Rhythmbox does not have any internal settings/options that will allow you to change the font size. The font size is determined by Gnome's Font preference tool.

Therefore you can adjust the font size displayed in Rhythmbox by selecting:

System -> Preferences -> Font Preferences

And then altering the "Application font" to your liking.

The only problem with this is that it will change the font size for other applications too. Apart from that, I think your only other option is to make a feature request to the Rhythmbox developers.

Hope this helps :-)

What about using a gtkrc file (ie: Rhytmbox specifically)? Have any idea what the gtk variables would be?
