rhythmbox has taken over my file manager

Asked by modelt

With Rhythmbox closed, no music playing, naked gnome desktop, I click <places>. The dropdown appears. No matter what selection I make -- Home, Downloads, Pictures, etc, when I click that option I get a screen full of rhythmbox. Rhythmbox comes up no matter which folder I select. WTF?

Thank you, fellers!

I deleted the line AND added <nautilus-folder-handler.desktop;> per your suggestion. I'm a newbie, so I don't know what I did or why I did it or how it worked -- BUT it works like a champ so far as I am now aware. If it dumps on me again, I'll know what to do. And if that doesn't work, I'll call you back.

Thanks again!
