cannot edit download details

I have loaded my music player with all music from CD and other sources, but find that I cannot edit the details, none of the genre are listed nor the year and most of the artists names.

Why can I not edit them as this is very frustrating and I'm now considering changing to a different music player as yours is the biggest load of crap I've ever found. compared to the Windows Media Player your not even in the same League.

Plus now I've found when I download new tracks it claims to have done them but cannot find them and doesn't list them.

If you have no solution just say so and your system will be gone within the hour because I'm sick of this useless pile of crap.

use easytag to tag the MP3s if you wish. You could ahve set the tag info when you ripped it which would save time

There are thousands of media players available in Linux so "your music player" isn't even an entity.

Your last statement is also pointless as you need to wait for replys, have patience and please grow a new attitude.

The music play that I have is called Rhythmbox, the music I have was transferred from my MP3 player when I switched from Windows to Ubuntu but I don't understand why it wont allow me to input genre information it took the artist and track names but not the genre even though they were listed,

And although it copied the information from my GoGear it wont send tracks back to it.

As for my attitude I don't give a fuck if you like it or not I'm so pissed off with a 3rd rate system that doesn't seem able to do anything properly.

Problem solved I uninstalled your player and installed a new one that does everything that I want.
