Two Problems with Rhythmbox Music Player

Asked by Bayindir

1) Is there any option to remove the album-artwork box? It randomly appears when I open the program.
2) Is there any way to add music to an iPod mini? When I plug in, it appears as a device on the sidebar and I can edit the name, however I cannot put music onto it.

Any answers to either problems would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

About the first question:
Go to Edit>>Plugins and turn off the "cover art" plugin. That should do the trick.

About the second question:
Have you checked writing permissions for your iPod?

Navigate to your iPod and go to "Properties". There you'll find the option "Folder access" in the "Permissions" tab, this should be set to create and delete files. I couldn't think of any other problems, so if this doesn't work out maybe someone else can help you out.

Can you help with this problem?
