Package update to latest version?

Hi,
the version here is almost 10 years old - the game port is still in active development and currently at version 0.4.6.
Would anyone be so kind to update the repo to this latest version?

I suggest you report a bug. If the bug and security fixes are significant then the package will be updated sooner rather than later. Ubuntu is not a rolling release distribution and packages can be left unupdated in favour of one's with issues.

You have to be aware that Ubuntu is copying packages from Debian (to avoid double packaging work), and as far as I can see also Debian is only on version 0.2.1.
To get the package updated in Ubuntu it could be helpful to create a bug report also in the Debian bug tracker (with cross-links from the Ubuntu bug to the Debian one and vice versa).

I used the easy way now, though - and compiled it myself...
So consider this 'solved' for me.
