Could I become a maintainer?

Could I become a maintainer for RapidSVN? I have noticed that it has not been updated in sometime on ubuntu, though it has had several releases upstream. I manage my own PPA and have used it to build the most current versions of RapidSVN as well as other programs.

Moving this over to the Ubuntu project.

The RapidSVN package appears to have a number of contributors. I'm sure the maintainer would welcome a patch.
