quickly design on kubuntu closes

I want to use quickly on kubuntu (12.04)
After installing gedit I can now use the ommand quickly edit whick works fine.
But the command quickly design does not work as it should.
Glade is opened and I can see the project ui files being loaded but then glade closes without an error message.
Which dependencies need to be installed for quickly? Are there other packages that are missing too?

Why install gedit in Kubuntu?? There is kate and/or kwrite which are both native to KDE. Installing gedit will install a TONNE of GTK deps and just for a text editor??

Because quickly edit crashes without installing gedit...
