qtoctave package

qtOctave depending on Octave 3.0 instead of 3.2

Hello,
I tried to install the package qtoctave 0.8.1+dfsg-3 using synaptic and it depends on octave 3.0 when i want to use octave 3.2 which is available.

Is it a problem with the package dependencies not being updated or am i mistaken ?

If there is any easy way to work around this problem i will be glad to hear it.

I just came here to report the same problem. I already had Octave 3.2 on my system and installing qtoctave installed octave 3.0 as well. Is there a simple way to use octave3.2 with qtoctave?
