You might have a corrupt disk. My advice it to make a new disk.
Did you check the sha or md5 checksum on the Ubuntu-Server 20.04.2 download ?
Your host is failing to boot that would be Ubuntu 18.04
or your guest is failing to boot Ubuntu-server 20.04 .iso?
On my virtual box I start the live download from my host downloads folder using virtual box guest.
I don't use disks.
