Is there a chance that the package will be upgraded to a stable release of Python3.6 on Yakkety?

Asked by Anne

On Yakkety there is only the beta 2 of Python 3.6 available but I need the stable version because the beta still has bugs. Is there a chance that the package will be upgraded?

I suggest that you create a bug report stating the improvements and error corrections that come with the stable version.

(There are some workarounds:
1. there might be a PPA with such version (in a quick search I only found trusty and xenial versions).
2. you could try creating a PPA with such version yourself
3. it might be possible to manually install the version for zesty on your yakkety system)

To add to the above, Open up a SRU request as described below as it would help others too who would want python 3.6

Thanks!
