python3-unshare missing?

Asked by Kenji Noguchi

As Python2 is being deprecated I'm migrating my projects to Python3. I'm using python-unshare but there doesn't seem to be python3-unshare. Is there any reason? Can someone add it to Xenial if it's simply missing ?

It seems that a python3-unshare package does not exist on Debian and Ubuntu, (but only on Fedora).

The source on https://github.com/NightTsarina/python-unshare contains logic for Python3, but the current source on Debian and Ubuntu doesn't.

I assume that it will be necessary to create bug Reports in Debian and Ubuntu to create a python3-unshare package.
Such bug report is already there for Debian https://bugs.debian.org/938241
In Ubuntu I did not find such bug report yet, so it probably should be created - preferably with a link to the Debian bug.

Can you help with this problem?
