Possibility to add this package to the 14.04 repository

Would it be possible to add this package to the 14.04 release?

or perhaps even an updated version (latest source is 0.5.2) of it?

I suggest that you do the following:

1. verify whether the python-ncclient package for xenial is installable on trusty (and works as expected):
Download https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+archive/primary/+files/python-ncclient_0.4.7-1_all.deb to your system
Try installing that package with
dpkg --install python-ncclient_0.4.7-1_all.deb
or with help of other package management tools (if dependent packages are missing, try installing them before)

2. If that works well, then create a bug report requesting that this package be backported to trusty.

You always have the possibility to build such package on your own system, or you could create a PPA with an updated version which would be then available for everyone.
