Backport >0.3.2~RC1-3 to trusty

Asked by Алексей

Hello!
Could you backport python-git deb package with version >= 0.3.2 to trusty?
We use deb packages in our deploy and couldn't use saltstack + python-git:
saltstack depends on python-git >=0.3.2, but latest available version 0.3.2~RC1-3

We have very old package gitpython, but it installs into /usr/lib/pymodules. This directory added into python sys.path from legacy python-support which not installs by default, cause dh-python replaces it (but not add /usr/lib/pymodules into sys.path)

1. For requesting a backport please file a bug report

2. There are several PPAs available with such version, see https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+ppas?name_filter=python-git for a list of candidates.

Can you help with this problem?
