version 1.9.11

Asked by carlos

HI

Is there any plan to update the pysvn version to 1.9.11 due to a issue with password keyring interaction see discussion below.

https://sourceforge.net/p/pysvn/tickets/2/?page=1

Without this version we are not able to use gnome-keyring system to store credential.
Thanks

I suggest you report a bug

You have to be aware that Ubuntu is taking over software from Debian (to avoid double packaging work), and also in Debian the highest version currently available is 1.9.9-*.

First step to get pysvn 1.9.11 (or higher) into Ubuntu is creating a bug report in Debian, that they upgrade their version. Ubuntu will then inherit that new version.

I understand the link between Debian and Ubuntu but should there be a direct link also for bug reporting..? I have already open a bug in lauchpad.. not sure how to open a bug for Debian.

Debian does not use Launchpad for their bug tracking, but they have a system of their own.

see http://www.debian.org/Bugs/Reporting for details of reporting Bugs in Debian.
If you don't have Debian installed, then you most probably have to use e-mail for reporting.

Can you help with this problem?
