will pygame 1.8 bei in hardy-backports or in hardy ?

pygame 1.8 is out (see www.pygame.org) , will there be an official ubuntu package for gutsy or hardy if i allow the "backports" in /etc/apt/sources.list ?

Well according to this:

http://packages.ubuntu.com/source/hardy/pygame

Version 1.7.1 is there in the ubuntu repositories

So I think version 1.8 will be backported soon into the hardy repos

and as of now no hardy backport is available for this package
